Amy's studio...
A new Amy creation...which I of course had to have
The high point of my trip to SF (yes, even higher than the Kirtsy party and the visit to Heath if you can believe it...) was my time spent with Amy and family. Amy's two-year old Ellie is quite possibly the coolest and most laid back kid I've ever encountered. (I would use all sorts of adjectives in describing my own girlies, like say, kind or creative or funny, but I can safely say I've only ever used the term "laid back" to describe Audrey or Millie with the word "not" firmly placed in front of it, but I digress.)
Back to Ellie... During our two days together, she happily accompanied us all around the city, taking in places that the average two-year old might not be so jazzed about an exhibit at the de Young, lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant, an extended browsing session at Heath... In fact, the only time I witnessed Ellie melting down just a smidge was when the balloon we procured for her at the grocery store popped within a matter of seconds. I mean what kid (no matter how laid back) isn't going to cry when their balloon pops? It's sad and scary... that's why I generally avoid balloons at all costs.
Behold a few pics of Ellie in action.
