We were busy, so that helped. There was our couples book club on Friday evening, a full day at The Nasher with Audrey on Saturday, a birthday party, plus working with my new “client”… Yep, it’s time for the big reveal; my fun new project is I’ve been hired to help decorate a very cool house in our neighborhood, which, given my “secret” dream job, is pretty darn exciting.
I’ve been collaborating with my client to make the ultra-modern space feel a little warmer, specifically the master bedroom and living areas. Since we both have full time jobs (and 5 kiddos between the two of us), we’ve been squeezing in shopping trips and planning a few hours each weekend for the past month or so, and yesterday we finally began putting together the bedroom… I have to say it’s looking pretty great. I’ll share some before and after photos soon.
Now back to the hiatus. Despite doing well last week, I’m starting to get itchy…The weather is warming up, and I’m jonesing for some new t-shirts, perhaps a little dress or two. But I’m holding firm.
