Photography by Agnes Thor

Agnes Thor’s works is a mixture of reality and fiction, inspired by everyday life and tales she read as a kid. Since her youth on the countryside in Sweden she’s been fascinated by nature and it’s erratic shiftings and often uses the nature as background or subject. The series “Apollo 0912″ is shot during a journey to an island in the atlantic sea. Her works have been shown recently at the Hasselblad center in Gothenburg, at Off the hook gallery in Montreal, at Upstate memory, Villa Pacri in New York and the Levi’s Photo workshop in New York. Agnes Thor published “Aurora Borealis” in 2010, Mörel Books.
