By Friday the girlies and I were feeling pretty much 100% better, so given our five very long house-bound days, we arranged to spend virtually every minute of the weekend outside. The weather was insanely beautiful (almost like a little gift to us for the hellish week we'd just endured), and there were loads of fun Fall activities going on...We managed to make it to the fair, the pumpkin festival at The Arboretum and the block party celebrating the opening of Dallas' new arts district. We noshed on giant corny dogs and cotton candy, rode lots of overpriced fair rides, petted cows and basically just took in the sunshine and fresh air.
It was divine...felt like a true Fall kickoff. Hope your weekend was splendid!
