I have a design crush on Kelly.
I had to say it, sorry, but it's true. She finds the absolute best, more interesting, most inspiring (and often obscure things) for her genius blog...It's good stuff, I'm telling you.
We also had the chance to hang out quite a bit at this fab design summit, and I can report that in real-life she is witty and funny and lovely and interesting and sports a seriously excellent smile.
I'm a fan.
So I'm happy she kindly agreed to share her favorites with us.

Bookstores. Preferably smaller ones that smell of dust and speak of hidden treasures just waiting to be found. (image here)
Cats. Any and all, but mostly my two – Roxy and Peanut.
Cereal. Sugary, fiber-filled, what have you. I want it all. If I had to choose one thing to subsist on for the rest of my days cereal would be it. (image here)
Flats. I want to love heels because I’m only 5’2”, but it’s just not meant to be. Flats are my heroes. (image here)
Paint Swatches. I collect them. I put them in a box. I wait to figure out what to do with them. (image here)
Poppies. My favorite flowers. They remind my of the ones my grandmother grows that were taller than me as a child. (image here)
Rainy Days. I feel more content, more productive. I blame it on being a water sign, Scorpio. (image here)
Salty Breezes. Means the ocean is near. And there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. (image here)
Self-Portraits. Because they’re a representation of how we want to be seen by the rest of the world.
White Sheets. The epitome of crisp and clean.
